My name is Karl Yates and I offer professional photography services. I specialise in Wedding Photography and a range of Portrait Photography such as Family Portraits, Individual Portraits, Modelling Portfolios and Headshots for actors and other performing artists. I am also a regular Events Photographer and do a lot of Nightlife Photography.
As a freelance photographer I spend my time between Clapham, London and the West Midlands so am available for photo shoots in both locations.

As well as offering a range of wedding packages I also offer a fully bespoke service to capture your special day in exactly the way you want. All services include a free and friendly consultancy where we can meet before the wedding to talk about your requirements to ensure that I provide you with a service that you will be delighted with. I have been a Wedding Photographer for a range of weddings including church, registry, asian, indian, sikh and hindu weddings.

I regulary photograph bands performing live and am extremely confident working in challenging low light conditions. I am the inhouse photographer for online nightlife magazines DV8 Online and the award winning burlesque cabaret venue Peacock Bar . I cater for bars, night clubs, parties, charity & business events and festivals.
Portrait Photography London, Birmingham & Walsall
Whether you are an aspiring actor in need of professional headshots, a model looking to build a portfolio or someone looking for some elegant photographs then this is the service for you. With my portable light-weight studio equipment the shoot can take place in the comfort of your own home, outside in a natural setting or a combination of both.
Family Photography London, Birmingham & Walsall
If you are looking to capture beautiful photographs of your family then this is the service for you. I have portable light-weight studio equipment so you can enjoy professional studio photography in the comfort of your own home or we can go to one of your favourite lacations and shoot in natural light.
I am also available UK wide (please note that travel expenses may be charged depending on travel costs).
News
I have recently been commissioned by the NHS to provide four portraits of people who had successfully quit smoking using the NHS "Kick It" quit smoking programme. The photos will be used as part of their poster campaing for the London Underground.
I am also proud to announce that I will be jetting off from Birmingham for a three week photographic tour of South Africa where I will be photographing all of the sights of World Cup 2010 and the diverse culture on offfer.
